MGEA is proud to collaborate with Geoffrey Philp - poet, novelist, playwright, and founder of the Garvey Classroom. Geoffrey holds the position of Professor of Composition and Marcus Garvey Education Academy.

He is a recipient of a Silver Musgrave Medal in Literature from the Institute of Jamaica, is the author of two short story collections, two novels, three children’s books, and eight books of poetry, including his latest - Unstoppable You!

His is one of the foremost experts on Marcus Garvey and now he brings that knowledge to you. We are proud and Marcus Garvey is as well.
